Non Teaching Staff :
1.
Admission Counsellor :
a)
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English
languages.
Graduation
pursuing person can also apply.
b)
Preferably experience in educational background is welcomed.
2.
Assistant Manager in Marketing:
a)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or a related field and relevant experience may
substitute for the degree requirement.
b)
Good communication is a must, preferably experience in marketing in educational
institute/university/edutech company.
3.
Library Assistant : Master degree in library science. Preferably 2 years
experience is welcomed.
3(a).
Assistant Librarian:
Educational
Qualification:
Masters
Degree in Library from a recognized University with First Class, PhD and/or NET
and/or GSET; preferable 2 years of experience.
4.
Office Assistant :
i)
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University / Institution.
ii)
3 years of experience as a Clerk in Government/ University/ PSU and other
Central / State Autonomous Bodies / reputed private Companies/ corporate
offices.
iii)
Proficiency in Computer applications, noting and drafting.
5.
Qualifications for Lecturer :
a)
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology in the relevant branch with
First class or equivalent.
b)
If a candidate has Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology, First class or
equivalent is required at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
6.
Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Applications:
Educational
Qualification:
MCA
or equivalent degree from a recognized University with First Class; preferable
2 years of experience.
7.
Qualifications for Assistant Professor :
Educational
Qualification:
a)
Technology & Engineering subjects:
B.E./B.Tech./
B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First
Class or equivalent in any one of the degree.
b)
Management:
Bachelor’s
Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration /
PGDBM/C.A./OCWA/M.Com.
With First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after
acquiring the degree of Master’s degree.
c)
Pharmacy
a)
A Bachelor (B.Pharm.) and Master (M.Pharm) degree in Pharmacy each First Class
or
equivalent
in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy recognized by Pharmacy Council
of India(PCI).
b)
A PCI recognized Pharm. D Degree holder shall also be eligible for the posts of
Lecturer/Assistant
Professor in the subject of pathophysiology, pharmacology and pharmacy practice.
Desirable:
Registration as a pharmacist under the pharmacy Act. 1948, as amended from time
to time, including
any succeeding enactments.
Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed
organization; and papers resented at conference and / or in referred journals.
In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research papers
publications/IPR/Patents
record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the selection
committee.
If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be equivalent to
Assistant
Professor
level with active participation record in devising/ designing, planning, executing,
analyzing, Quality control innovating, training, technical books/research paper
publications/IPR/Patents etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the
selection committee.
8.
Qualifications for Associate Professor :
Educational
Qualification:
a)
Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either
Bachelor’s or
Master’s
level in the relevant branch.
AND
b)
At least total 6 research publications in SCI Journals/UGC/AICTE approved list
of Journals.
AND
c)
Minimum of 8 years experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at
least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
9.
Qualifications for Professor :
a)
Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either
Bachelor’s or
Master’s
level in the relevant branch.
AND
b)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry out of which
at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate
Professor.
c)
At least 6 research publications t the level of Associate Professor in SCI
journals / UGC /
AICTE
approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor
/ Cosupervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.
OR
At
least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI
journals /UGC /
AICTE
approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.
10.
Qualifications for Physiotherapy Teachers
I.
Assistant Professor:
Bachelor’s
Degree in Physiotherapy (B.P./T./B. Th./P./B.P.Th.),Master’s Degree in
Physiotherapy
(M.&P.Th/M.Th.P./M.Sc. P.T/M.P.T.) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a
recognized University.
11.
Qualifications for Assistant Professor: Design (Interior)
a)
Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4 year Diploma in any one of the streams of
Design, Fine
Arts,
Applied Arts and Architecture or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with First
class or equivalent
AND
b)
Master’s degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in relevant disciplines
with First Class
or
equivalent in a concerned / relevant /allied subject of Industrial Design /
Visual
Communication
/ Fine Arts / Applied Arts / Architecture / Interaction Design / New Media
Studies
/ Design Management / Ergonomics / Human Factors Engineering / Indian Craft Studies
and related fields of Engineering or Design.
AND
c)
Minimum 2 years of professional design experience in Industry / research
organization /
Design
studios.
12.
Physical Education Department
Qualifications
for Assistant Director
Eligibility
(A or B):
A
(i)
A Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or
Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale,
wherever the grading system is followed)
(ii)
Record of having represented the university / college at the inter-university /
inter-collegiate competitions or the State and/ or national championships.
(iii)
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared
the National
Eligibility
Test (NET), conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the
UGC,
like SLET/SET, or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Physical
Education
or Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science, in accordance with the
University
Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of
M.Phil/Ph.D.
Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, as the
case may be:
Provided
that, candidates registered for the Ph.D. degree prior to July 11, 2009, shall
be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/
Bye-laws/Regulations of the
Institutions
awarding the degree and such Ph.D. degree holders shall be exempted from the requirement
of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or
equivalent
positions in Universities/Colleges / Institutions, subject to the fulfillment
of the following conditions: -
a)
The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode;
b)
The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
c)
Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;
d)
The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of
which at least one is in a refereed journal;
e)
The candidate has presented at least two research papers in conference/seminar,
based on his/her Ph.D work
Note:
The fulfilment of these conditions (a) to (e) is to be certified by the Registrar
or the Dean
(Academic
Affairs) of the University concerned
NET/SLET/SET
shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which
NET/SLET/SET
is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Passed
the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these Regulations.
OR
B.
An Asian game or commonwealth games medal winner who has a degree at least at
Post Graduation level.
