The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the latest notification for the Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 Examination. The CTET 2024 Notification has been released on 7 March 2024. The CTET Exam will be held on 7 July 2024. The eligible candidates can apply online for the CTET July 2024 exam from the website ctet.nic.in starting from 7 March 2024.  The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 19th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 07-07-2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in136 cities all over the country. The detailed information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in/ shortly and aspiring candidates are requested to download in information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET websitehttps://ctet.nic.in/. The online application process will start from 07/03/2024. Educational Qualification and other details: 

Primary Stage (Class I to V)

Candidates who are Senior Secondary or its Equivalent with at least 50% or 45% marks/Passed  or appearing diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms / B.El.Ed(04 Years Course)/Diploma in education(Special Course ,for 02 Years)/ B.Ed(1 Year)/Diploma in Elementary Education(1 Year) will be eligible for CTET Examination..

Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)

Candidates having Bachelor Degree (with at least 45% or 50% marks) /passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in elementary Education/Diploma in Education/B.El.Ed /B.SC.Ed /B.A Ed. /B.Ed. will be eligible for this CTET Examination.

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF CTET

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of whichone answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of CTET.

(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

STEP2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

STEP3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.

STEP4: Upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature

STEP5: Pay Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.

STEP6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
