Educational Qualification and other details: 

Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized Board.

Additionally, candidates should possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

Selection Process 2024

Candidates applying for the Act-Apprenticeship in various trades at Rail Coach Factory (Kapurthala) will undergo a selection process based on merit. The merit list will be prepared considering the percentage of marks in matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and ITI marks in the trade for which apprenticeship is sought. In case of equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate. Final selection will be based on the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate.

Application Fees 2024

An application fee of Rs. 100/- is applicable for all candidates. This fee is non-refundable and is to be paid online through the prescribed mode during the application process. RCF/Kapurthala will not accept application fees through Cash/Cheque/Money order/IPO/Demand Draft, etc.
