Educational Qualification and other details: 

Deputy Director of Horticulture, Class-1, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department Class-1

(a) A Ph. D degree in any branch of Horticulture obtained from any of the Agriculture/Horticulture Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agriculture/Horticulture Universities Act or a State Agriculture/Horticulture Universities Act in India;

And (i) have about three years' experience on the post not below the rank of Horticulture Officer, Class II, in the Gujarat Horticulture service under the Directorate of Horticulture;

or (ii) have about three years' separate or combined experience in the field of Horticulture Research/ Horticultural Extension Service/ Horticulture Education/ Horticulture Engineering in the Government/ Government Undertaking/Board/ Corporation/ Local bodies/ Government recognized University/ Government Research Institute/ Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013/ University/ Krishi Vigyan Kendra falling under the jurisdiction of Agriculture Technology Research Institutions of the Indian Council of Agriculture Research on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Horticulture Officer, Class II, in the Gujarat Horticulture Service under the Directorate of Horticulture;

Or "(b) At least a second class post graduate degree in any branch of Horticulture obtained from any of the Agriculture/Horticulture Universities incorporated or established by or under the Central Agriculture/Horticulture Universities Act or State Agriculture/Horticulture Universities Act in India;

And (i) have about five years' experience on the post not below the rank of Horticulture Officer, Class II, in the Gujarat Horticulture service under the Directorate of Horticulture;

prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and

Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

(D) Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both

Scientific Officer (Forensic Psychology Group),

(i) a post graduate degree in Phychology or Clinical Phychology or Neuro Phychology or Forensic Phychology or Investigation Phychology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or

(ii) a bachelor’s degree with Phychology as a principal subject obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (A) have about two years’ experience on the post not below the rank of Laboratory Technician, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Forensic Science, Gujarat State in the respective group of sections/divisions of the Forensic Science Laboratory;

or (B) have about two years’ experience of reseach or analytical work in the respective subject in the Government or local bodies or Government Undertaking Board or corporation or Private or Public sector laboratory or research institute or limited company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University or college on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of the Laboratory Technician, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Forensic Science, Gujarat State;

(C) Possesses the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

(D) Possesses adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both

Technical Advisor, Class-1 in the General State Service,under the Climate Change Department 

(b) (i) possess a Ph. D. in Climate Change / Environment Management/ Environment Science/ Energy Management obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956; and

(ii) have about eight years experience in the field of Climate Change / Environment Management / Environment Science/Energy Management in Government/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/ Limited company established under the Companies Act, 2013 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Class II, Gazetted officer in Government of Gujarat. Or

(c) (i) possess Masters Degree in Climate Change/Environment Management /Environment Science/Energy Management obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956; and

(ii) Have about ten years experience in the field of Climate Change/ Environment Management / Environment Science/Energy Management in Government/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/ Limited company established under the Companies Act, 2013; on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Class II, Gazetted officer in Government of Gujarat.

Insurance Medical Officer

a degree in Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act,1970.

Lecturer (Selection Scale)

a Master degree in Science (Nursing) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council;

Lecturer (Senior Scale)

a post graduate degree in Nursing obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council;

State Tax Inspector

(1) Possess a Bachelor‟s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; A candidate who has appeared or intends to appear or awaiting the result of the final semester/year of the required qualification, can apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting the application for mains examination. A Candidate who fails to produce the proof of passing the Bachelor‟s degree Examination shall not be eligible for admission to Mains Examination. Assistant Engineer (Electrical),

Junior Town Planner, Class-2

a Bachelor's degree of Architecture or of Civil Engineering /Technology or of Planning obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (ii) a post graduate degree or post graduate diploma in city Planning / Town Planning / Regional Planning /Traffic and Transportation Planning/ Urban Design/ Urban Planning/ Infrastructure Planning/ Industrial Planning or Environmental Planning obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or institution approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Health Officer, Class-2

a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess any other qualification specified in first or second schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956

Additional Assistant Engineer

Main Exam Main Written Examination :Total 200 Marks: Descriptive : Paper-1: Gujarati & English 100 (50+50) Marks, Time Duration 180 minutes , Paper-2:Concerned Subject:100 Marks - Time Duration 180 minutes

System of Merit    The final selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained from the Paper -1 (200 Marks) & Paper-2 (200 Marks), i.e. Total 400 Marks.
