Educational Qualification and other details: 

• Must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in India.
• Equivalent qualifications in specific Civil/Construction/Transportation/Environmental/Urban Planning disciplines are also accepted.
• Must have basic computer application knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language.

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 35 years (as on 15th September 2025)
• Age relaxations applicable:
• Women (General): 5 years
• Reserved Category (Male): 5 years
• Reserved Category (Female): 10 years (up to 45 years)
• PwD (General Male): 10 years (up to 45 years)
• PwD (General Female): 15 years (up to 45 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Service years + 3 years relaxation

 

Salary:

• Fixed Pay: ₹49,600 per month for the first 5 years.
• After satisfactory service, regular pay as per 7th Pay Commission in the scale of ₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600 (Level-7).

• Reserved Categories (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, PwD, Women, Ex-Servicemen): ₹400
• Refundable if the candidate appears for the examination.

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) / OMR Exam consisting of MCQ-type questions.

• Part B (150 Marks):
• Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30
