Eligibility Criteria

1. Technician on Contract (CNC Operator - Machinist)

  • Qualification: ITI (Machinist) with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years for ITI(Machinist) OR 3 Years for ITI CNC Machine Technician with the qualification CNC Machining Technician (NSQF) - a 2-year program in operating CNC Milling Machines/Turn Mill Centres
  • Desirable: Candidates who have completed a certification course in CNC Machine Operation of at least 6 months duration will have an added advantage

2. Technician on Contract (CNC Operator - Turner)

  • Qualification: ITI (Turner) with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years for ITI(Turner) OR 3 Years for ITI CNC Machine Technician with the qualification CNC Machining Technician (NSQF) - a 2-year program in operating CNC Turning Machines/Turn Mill Centres
  • Desirable: Candidates who have completed a certification course in CNC Machine Operation of at least 6 months duration will have an added advantage

3. Technician on Contract (CNC Operator - Grinding)

  • Qualification: ITI (Machinist (Grinding)) with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years for ITI(Machinist(Grinding)) OR 3 Years for ITI CNC Machine Technician with the qualification CNC Machining Technician (NSQF) - a 2-year program in operating CNC Turning Machines/Turn Mill Centres
  • Desirable: Candidates who have completed a certification course in CNC Machine Operation of at least 6 months duration will have an added advantage

4. Technician on Contract (Jig Boring Machine Operator)

  • Qualification: ITI (Machinist) with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years' experience in operating a Jig Boring Machine

5. Technician on Contract (CMM Operator)

  • Qualification: ITI (Fitter/Machinist/Turner) with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years' experience in operating CMM machines
  • Essential: The candidate should have completed a certification course in CMM operation. Sound knowledge of reading and interpreting tolerances, including GD&T, is essential

6. Technician on Contract (Operator - Welder)

  • Qualification: ITI (Welder) with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years' experience in welding Mild Steel, Structural Steel & Stainless Steel Structures
  • Desirable: Experience in fabrication work in Aerospace/Nuclear/Defence sectors; Completion of a certification course in welding or weld inspection; Experience in operating automated welding equipment

7. Supervisor on Contract (CNC Programming)

  • Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years' experience in CNC Programming. Should be capable of programming various types of CNC machines and have capability in planning shop floor activities efficiently
  • Desirable: Candidates who have completed a certificate course in CNC Programming will have an added advantage

8. Supervisor on Contract (Maintenance)

  • Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years' experience in the maintenance of CNC machines

9. Draftsman Supervisor (3D Modelling and Drafting)

  • Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% aggregate marks
  • Experience: 5 Years' experience in 3D Modelling and Drafting
  • Essential: Knowledge of various modelling and drafting software packages is essential. The candidate should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and must have strong proficiency in tolerance and GD&T
  • Desirable: Candidates who have completed a certificate course in CAD/CAM will have an added advantage

Note: Apprenticeship in the relevant field (maximum of one year) is also considered as experience.

Salary/Stipend

Technician on Contract

  • 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
  • 2nd Year: ₹32,000 per month
  • 3rd Year: ₹34,000 per month
  • 4th Year: ₹36,000 per month

Supervisor on Contract

  • 1st Year: ₹35,000 per month
  • 2nd Year: ₹37,000 per month
  • 3rd Year: ₹39,000 per month
  • 4th Year: ₹41,000 per month

Contract Period: Initial period of One year (extendable up to 4 years including initial term, depending on project requirements & satisfactory performance of the candidate)

Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)

  • Maximum Age for UR Category: 35 years
  • Age Relaxation for OBC: 3 years (up to 38 years)
  • Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years (up to 40 years)
  • Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above (minimum 40% disability or more)
  • Age Relaxation for J&K Domicile: 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989

Selection Process

  • Based on data provided in online application, candidates shall be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:4 in order of merit based on aggregate percentage obtained in ITI/Diploma, category wise (UR/EWS/OBC/SC/ST)
  • In case of a tie, candidates with higher marks in Class X standard shall be considered
  • In case of a further tie, candidates with earlier date of Birth shall be considered
  • Upon short listing, candidates will be called for Document verification followed by Written Test and Skill/Trade Test with Viva to be held at Hyderabad
  • Final recommendations shall be made as per the merit through following criteria:
    • Qualification (A): 20% of aggregate percentage in Diploma/ITI
    • Written Test (B): 40 marks
    • Trade/Skill Test + Viva (C): 40 marks
    • Total Merit: A + B + C
  • Experience from Academic Institutions/Colleges/Internship/Project work shall not be considered for the purpose of calculation of Post-Qualification experience
