Software Engineer

Educational Qualification and other details: 

·         The candidate should have a full time degree in B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university.

·         Should have minimum 3 years of professional work experience in the LAMP / WAMP technologies.

·         Expert in PHP & MySQL

·         Good experience in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Angular JS, HTML5, CSS3, APIs etc.

·         Good experience in atleast one open source CMS platform such as Drupal (preferable), WordPress, Magento, Moodle, Joomla etc.

·         Good knowledge in Learning Management System, preferably MOODLE or OpenEDx

·         Exposure to CRM system development and maintenance

·         Knowledge of Web Programming, E-Commerce, Web User Interface Design (UI), ObjectOriented Design, SEO, Security Principles, Cross-browser compatibility, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development

·         Strong in Verbal Communication

Job description (It is not exhaustive):

·         Responsible for design and development of web applications using open-source technologies (LAMP/WAMP)

·         Responsible for enhancements, change requests, maintenance, support of existing web-based applications

·         Debugging and problem solving across a wide variety of open source, CMS and mobile platforms

·         Ability to work on multiple assignments

·         Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

·         Responsible for coding, responsive web design, look and feel to complete it in given project timelines

·         Should follow IIMA’s SDLC process and policies related to application security, performance, UI design standards

 

Age Limit:

Maximum 30 years

Job Location: IIM Ahmedabad Campus, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad

Working: 6 days a week
