Educational Qualification and other details: 

Project Associate I

Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry

Desirable experience: Candidate having M. Sc. in Chemistry with experience in the field of porous materials synthesis, and characterization is desirable. The selected candidate will have to work on the project entitled “Development of CO2 Selective Membranes and Adsorbents for Biogas Purification and Flue Gas Treatment”. The candidate will be working on porous material synthesis, characterization, gas separation, adsorption studies, process development, and demonstration of the processes.

Fellowship: Fellowship as per CSIR guidelines. (i) Rs. 31000/- pm + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility test CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant Professorshhip) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by central Goverment  department and their agencies and institutions.

(ii) 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Age: For Project Associate-1 Maximum 35 years. As on the last date of receipt of applications through email i.e. 30th December, 2022.Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Project Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification(s): M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferably with physical chemistry specialization) or Biochemistry or Biotechnology with GATE/CSIR-UGC NET (LS).

Desirable:

a.   Junior Research Fellowship (CSIR-UGC/DBT)

b.   Knowledge in computer programming (C/C++, Fotran, Python, Perl, etc.)

c.    Exposure to computer simulations (e.g. Molecular Dynamics, Monte Carlo methods)

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- pm plus HRA as admissible

Age: Maximum 28 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per institute rules.

Project associate-1 and Project Assistant

Tech. scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutes.

(ii) Rs. 25000/-(consolidated) @pm- for others i.e. M.Sc./B.Tech. who do not fall under (a)and (b) above.
