Educational Qualification and other details: 

Assistant Environmental Engineer : 

Should posses a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a University or Institute recognized by State/Central Government with the first class in the Environmental Engineering Or Civil Engineering with environment as elective or Chemical Engineering with environment as elective.

Basic Knowledge Of Computer Application.

Should Have Knowledge Of Gujarati And Hindi.

Those having Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering /Environmental Management but not having Bachelor’s degree in Environment or Civil / Chemical Engineering with environment as elective need not apply as they are not eligible and will be disqualified at any stage.

Senior Scientific Assistant : 

Should be a graduate degree from Recognized University or Institute in the discipline of Environmental Science/Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/Micro Biology/Aquatic Biology/Marine Biology/Bio Science/Bio-technology.

Basic Knowledge Of Computer Applications.

Should Have Knowledge Of Gujarati And Hindi.

Candidates having Bachelors degree in disciplines other than above shall be inelligible and will be disqualified at any stage.

Clerk Cum Typist : 

Should posses a Bachelor Degree from a Recognized University or Institute in Commerce, Arts, Law, or Business Administration Or Science.

Basic Knowledge Of Computer Applications.

Should Have Knowledge Of Gujarati And Hindi.

Candidates having Bachelors degree in disciplines other than above shall be ineligible and will be disqualified at any stage.

GEMI jobs Salary /Pay Scale

·         Assistant Environmental Engineer: Level 8 (Rs. 44,900/- – 1,42,400/-)

·         Senior Scientific Assistant: Level 7 (Rs.39,900/- – 1,26,600/-)

·         Clerk / Typist: Level 2 (Rs.19,900/- – 63,200/-)

For General Category Female Candidates & EWS, SC, ST & SEBC Candidates: Rs. 250/-
