Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.

Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination.

1 Athletics (Men & Women):- In Athletics, medal winning performance in National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship, may also be considered for recruitment against the posts in level

2. (Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- in Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200.) In Athletics, Gold medal winner in Open National Championship (Senior), Inter State Athletics Championship (Senior) and Asian Championship (Senior) may be considered for recruitment in Level 5/4 (GP Rs. 2800/2400)

2 Cricket:-

 In Cricket (Women) at International level, representation of Main Indian Seniors team in a Test Match or in a Limited Overs One Day International Match or in a Twenty-20 Overs match: shall also be considered for recruitment against the posts in 3/2. (Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- Or Rs. 2000/- in Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200) In Cricket (Women) at National level, following sports achievements in 4 Days/ One Day Limited Overs/ Twenty-20 Overs Women Cricket Championships organized under the aegis of BCCI may also be considered for recruitment against the posts in Level 2/1 (GP Rs. 1900 or 1800 in PB Rs. 5200-20200.

Badminton and Table Tennis:-

In Badminton and Table Tennis, sportspersons may also be considered for recruitment on the basis of their Current Annual All India Rankings: in different levels, as per following criteria:-

However, the certificates issued by the Associations of Indian Universities and the International Federations for recognized sports achievement in the game of Volleyballwill be permissible.

 

    Powerlifting(Women):

SportsachievementsintheeventconductedbyIndianPowerliftingFederation(IPF)oritsaffiliated units after 03/10/2017 will not be considered.

However, the certificates issued by the Associations of Indian Universities and the International Federations for recognized sports achievement in the game of Powerlifting will be considered.

 

    Handball(Men):-

Sportsachievementsinthe eventconductedby Handball FederationofIndia or its affiliated units from 31/12/2021 to 25/7/2023will not be considered.

However, the certificates issued by the Associations of Indian Universities and the International Federations for recognized sports achievement in the game ofHandballwill be considered.

 

    Hockey(Men):-

HockeyIndiamaybetreatedastherecognizedNationalSportsFederationforthegameofHockey.

 

    InRifleShooting,:-

 

A.      Only the individual performance in recognized domestic Championship shall be considered for recruitment purpose. All India G.V.Mavlankar Shooting Championship is not a recognized championship for this purpose.

B.      OnthebasisofperformanceinNationalShootingChampionshipCompetitions,onlythe“National Championship”shouldbeconsideredasrecognizedcategory.Hence“CivilianChampionship“is not recognized for recruitment purpose.

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2024. Candidates born between 01/01/1999 and 01/01/2006 (both days inclusive) should only apply.

APPLICATION FEE:

 For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-Para (ii) below

Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only), with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- (Rs Four Hundred Only) to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appeared in the Trial, after deducting bank charges

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ExServicemen/Persons with Disability/ Women/Minorities* and Economic Backward Class**

Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appeared in the Trial, after deducting bank charges. Candidates in this category should check their eligibility thoroughly before applying.

4.1 Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as part of online application process.

4.2 After ensuring the correctness of the particulars in the application form, candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway which has been integrated with the online application. No change / edit option will be allowed thereafter.

4.3 The payment can be made by using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking etc. by providing required details information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.

4.4 On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt with the date entered by the candidate will be generated which should be saved / printed and retained by the candidate. It may be invariably ensured that payment of fee is made through online mode. The applications without the payment of fee will be summarily rejected.

Selection Procedure

All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.
