- The candidate should have experience in major Rail Road Construction / Maintenance Projects / Metro and Railway Projects with hands on experience in track alignment & laying, welding of rail joints by mobile flash welding and placing of points & crossings.
- The candidate should have experience in construction and maintenance of Track works, Bridges, Viaduct, Contract Management, Installation and Commissioning of turnouts and coordination with other departments like operation / signal / Rolling stock & OHE will be an added advantage.
Salary for Chennai Metro Rail Recruitment 2024:

- The selected candidate will get a salary of draw pay being drawn in the parent organization with deputation allowance and project allowance at10% of Basic Pay each. (or)
- The selected candidate will get a salary of To draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance (20% of Basic Pay).
