UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. The fulfillment of the conditions (a) to
(e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs) of
the University concerned.

University/Institution.

(i) Master’s Degree in
Hindi with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading
system is followed.
(ii) M.Ed. Degree With at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
(iii) Qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education
conducted by the UGC or the State Level Eligibility test in Education (SET/
SLET) accredited by the UGC.
Senior Research Officer (Language Medium) 02

PAY SCALE: Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per
7th CPC.
AGE: 40 years for URs.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: (A) EDUCATIONAL:
Master’s Degree from a recognised University in Linguistics; or Master’s Degree
from a recognised University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective
subject or as the medium of examination at degree level: or Master’s Degree
from a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective
subject or as the medium of examination at degree level; or Master’s Degree
from a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English with

(a) Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark
Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay
a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in
any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or
by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. (b) No fee for
SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is
available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full
prescribed fee. (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be
considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would
be entertained. (d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance
nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
