Administrative Officer, GSS, Class-II

 

GUJARAT PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (GPSC) Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification and other details: 

(a) possess a bachelor's degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act,1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Government; and

 (b) (i) have about three years experience in any administrative cadre not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class III, in the subordinate services under the Commissionerate of Health, Medical Services and Medical Education and Research, Gujarat State, or

(ii) have about three years experience of administration in the Government/Local Bodies/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation / Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class III in the subordinate services under the Commissionerate of Health, Medical Services and Medical Education and Research, Gujarat State;

Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

Candidates of General (Unreserved) category have to pay Rs. 100/-+applicable postal charges or Rs. 100/- + Service Charges through online mode as Application Fees. While Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Section of Unreserved category of Gujarat State, Ex-Servicemen and physically disabled candidates have not to pay application fees. While candidates of reserved category of other states have to pay application fee.

Preliminary Exam Pattern: A Question paper of 100 marks of General Studies and 200 marks of the Concerned Subject, Total: 300 marks. Duration: 180 minutes. As per the Instruction/Provision of the Commission, the candidates who possess less than 15% marks in Preliminary Test shall not be eligible for Interview.
