The Gujarat Water Supply and
Sewerage Board (GWSSB), Public Health Mechanical Division, Surat has
announced a recruitment notification for the engagement of Apprentices for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act-1961.
The board is inviting eligible candidates with qualifications in B.E., Diploma,
or ITI (Mechanical/Electrical) and other graduates for a Walk-in Interview.
This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates and diploma
holders to gain practical training in a government organization. The Walk-in
Interview is scheduled to be held on 30 December 2025 at
the Jal Bhavan, Surat. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend
ranging from Rs. 9,600 to Rs. 15,000 depending on their qualification. In this

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates
interested in attending the interview must fulfill the following criteria:
- Passing Year: Candidates
must have passed their respective degree/diploma/ITI within the last
3 years.
- Portal
Registration: It is mandatory for candidates to be
registered on the Government of India’s apprenticeship portals:
- NATS (MHRD): For
Degree/Diploma holders.
- NAPS (Skill
India/MSDE): For ITI/Trade apprentices.
