Educational Qualifications

  • Executive Trainee (Mechanical): Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University
  • Executive Trainee (Electrical): Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University
  • Executive Trainee (Electronics): Degree in Electronics Engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University
  • Executive Trainee (Naval Architecture): Degree in Naval Architecture Engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University
  • Executive Trainee (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University
  • Executive Trainee (Safety): Degree in Safety Engineering with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University
  • Executive Trainee (Finance): Pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India
  • Executive Trainee (Human Resource): Two year Master's Degree or equivalent Degree or equivalent Diploma or Post Graduate Degree in any of the following areas, with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University:
    • Master's Degree in Business Administration with specialization in HR or equivalent Degree with specialization in HR or equivalent Diploma with specialization in HR OR

Desirable

Salary/Stipend

During Training Period (1 Year)

  • Consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000
  • Additional stipend limited to maximum of ₹3,000 per month for extra hours of training on closed holidays (if required)

After Successful Completion of Training

  • Designation: Assistant Manager in E-1 Grade
  • Scale of Pay: ₹40,000-3%-140,000
  • Basic Pay: ₹40,000 per month
  • Industrial Dearness Allowance (DA): ₹20,720 per month (at present 51.8%)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA): ₹8,000 per month (at Kochi 20%)
  • Perks & Allowances: ₹14,000 per month (35% of Basic Pay)
  • Total Per Month: ₹82,720
  • Annual CTC: Approximately ₹14.92 lakhs (at the minimum of the E1 scale)

Selection Process

Phase-I: Objective Type Online Test (60 marks)

  • Duration: 60 Minutes
  • Total Questions: 60 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Distribution:
  • Each question carries one mark
  • No negative marks
  • Test centres in Kerala only
  • Candidates can choose test centres while completing online application

Minimum Pass Marks for Phase-I

  • Unreserved posts & EWS candidates: 50% of total marks
  • OBC Candidates: 45% of total marks (only for vacancies reserved for OBC)
  • SC/ST Candidates: 40% of total marks (only for vacancies reserved for SC/ST)
  • PwBD Candidates (HR & Finance posts): 40% of total marks

Certificate Verification

  • Candidates who score minimum pass marks shall be shortlisted for certificate verification
  • Minimum ratio of 6 candidates against one post in order of merit/reservation
  • Only candidates who successfully complete certificate verification shall be allowed to attend Phase II

Phase-II: Group Discussion, Writing Skills and Personal Interview (40 marks)

  • Group Discussion (GD): 10 marks
  • Writing Skills: 10 marks
  • Personal Interview: 20 marks

Final Selection

  • Total marks: 100 (Phase-I: 60 marks + Phase-II: 40 marks)
  • Rank lists prepared based on total marks secured in Phase I & Phase II
  • In case of tie: marks scored in discipline part of Objective test shall be basis
  • If tie persists: relative merit decided based on seniority in age
