SEB TAT Secondary Notification 2026: Apply Online for Teacher Aptitude Test

The State Examination Board (SEB), Gujarat, has released the official notification for the Teacher Aptitude Test ( Secondary) – 2026. This examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teachers in registered government and private secondary schools in Gujarat.

The online registration process begins on 18 February 2026 and will conclude on 27 February 2026. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for 26-04-2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official OJAS portal.

🎓 Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess the requisite educational and professional qualifications as prescribed by the State Government for the post of Secondary Teacher.

Students who are studying in the final year of their training qualification during the academic year 2025-26 will also be able to fill the form. The application for this examination of such students will be made in their final year. Subject to the result of the examination. Candidates appearing in TAT - S with this opportunity will have to submit the mark sheet of passing the relevant qualification in the teacher recruitment process to be held in the future. The following subjects will be tested for Gujarati medium.

➤ GUJRATI, HINDI, ENGLISH, SOCIAL SCIENCE, MATHS-SCIENCE, SANSKRIT, COMPUTER, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AGRICULTURE

• SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, PH: ₹ 400/-

The TAT ( Secondary) exam consists of two stages: Preliminary (MCQ) and Mains (Descriptive).

1. Preliminary Examination (MCQ) – 200 Marks

Teacher Competence (35 Questions) (35 Marks)

2. Main Examination (Descriptive) – 200 Marks

There will be two question papers of this main test. Question Paper-1 will carry 100 marks for Gujarati/English preparation and Question Paper-2 will carry 100 marks for content and subject method preparation. Thus this main test will be of 200 marks

The time allotted for 100 marks in Question Paper-1 will be 150 minutes.

The time allotted for 100 marks in Question Paper-2 will be 180 minutes.

2.   Click on “Apply Online” and select “TAT ( Secondary) – 2026”.

3.   Fill in the application form with accurate personal and educational details.

4.   Upload your photograph and signature in JPG format.

5.   Confirm the application to generate a Confirmation Number.

6.   Pay the examination fee online.

7.   Take a printout of the application form and fee receipt.
