Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released
Advertisement No. 03/2026, inviting online applications for 1979 vacancies
across 25 posts in multiple departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi,
including Forensic Science Laboratory, Directorate of Education, New Delhi
Municipal Council, Information Technology Department, Labour Department, and
Department of Delhi Archives. The online application window opens on 16 June

Candidates
must be citizens of India and must meet post-specific educational
qualifications and age limits as on the cut-off date of 15
July 2026.
Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
JSA (Biology) – 21/26: Master's
degree in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Anthropology, Biology, Human Biology,
Life Science, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or
Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany as a subject in all three years of
B.Sc.; OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology.
JSA (Ballistics) – 22/26: Master's
degree in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Forensic Science with
Physics or Mathematics as a subject across all three B.Sc. years.
JSA (Chemistry) – 23/26: Master's
degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science with
Chemistry as a B.Sc.-level subject.
JSA (Lie-Detection) – 24/26: Master's
degree in Psychology or Criminology.
JSA (Documents) – 25/26 &
JSA (Finger Print) – 30/26: Master's degree in
Physics or Chemistry, or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry studied for

Technical Assistant (Hindi) –
32/26: Master's degree in Hindi (with English as a
compulsory/elective subject or medium at degree level), or in English (with
Hindi), or in any other subject under prescribed Hindi/English combinations;
AND a recognized Diploma/Certificate in Hindi–English translation or two years'
translation experience in Central/State/UT government offices.
Assistant Archivist Grade-I –
33/26: Master's degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian
History; AND a Diploma in Archives and Record Management. Desirable:
Certificate course in Microsoft Office.
I.T. Assistant Grade-A – 34/26: 12th
Standard pass from a recognized institution/board; AND a typing speed of not
less than 8000 key depressions per hour (26.67 WPM) in English or Hindi, with
qualification in the Aptitude Test. Desirable: one-year recognized Certificate
Course in Data Preparation & Computer Software.
Fitter Grade-II – 35/26: Certificate
in the trade of Plumber from a recognized institution; AND one year practical
experience in handling water distribution networks of CI and GI pipes.
Lift Operator – 36/26: Matric/Higher
Secondary; AND ITI certificate in the trade of Electrician/Wireman.
Asstt. Operator cum Mechanic
(A/C) – 37/26: Matric/Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics;
AND ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Essential experience: minimum
two years in Air Conditioning in a reputed firm/undertaking.
Sub Station Apprentice – 38/26: Matric;
AND National Trade Certificate of two years' duration in the trade of
Electrician awarded by NCTVT, Govt. of India.
Data Processing Assistant Grade
'A' – 39/26: Degree from a recognized university; OR three-year Diploma
in Computer Engineering with one year of EDP experience; OR Degree in Computer
Engineering. Additionally, a typing speed of at least 8000 key depressions per
hour.
Data Entry Operator Grade 'B' –
40/26: Degree from a recognized university; OR three-year Diploma
in Computer Engineering/Digital Electronics/ECE with computer application as a
subject; AND typing speed of at least 8000 key depressions per hour, with
qualification in the Aptitude Test.
TGT (Computer Science) – 41/26: BCA
from a recognized university; OR Graduation in Computer Science (computer
science as main subject in all years); OR BE/B.Tech in CS/IT; OR Graduation in
any subject with 'A' level course from DOEACC.
Domestic Science Teacher –
42/26: Bachelor's degree in Domestic Science/Home Science; AND
B.Ed with Domestic Science/Home Science as a teaching subject. Desirable: Hindi
passed at secondary level.
TGT (Special Education Teacher)
– 43/26: Graduation degree; AND B.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed
(General) with one/two-year Diploma in Special Education, or other specified
RCI-recognized qualifications; AND CTET (Elementary Stage); AND RCI registration.
SSA resource persons get age relaxation equivalent to years served. Women
candidates also get a general age relaxation of 10 years.
Special Educator (Primary) –
44/26: XIIth passed with D.Ed Special Education (two years) or
one-year DSE, or specified RCI-recognized qualifications (DCBR, PGDCBR, MRW,
Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf, etc.); AND CTET (Primary Stage); AND RCI
registration.
Electrical
Overseer/Sub-Inspector – 45/26: Three-year Diploma or
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; AND one year experience (for
Diploma holders) in electrical engineering practice.

Recruitment 2026 - Application Fee
The
application fee is ₹100 (One Hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Serviceman
categories are fully exempted from
paying the fee. Ex-Servicemen who have already secured regular civil employment
under the Central Government or Government of NCT of Delhi after availing ESM
reservation benefits are not eligible for fee exemption.
Payment
must be made only through SBI ePay. No other
payment mode will be accepted, and fees paid will not be refunded under any
circumstances.

Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
Selection
will be made through a Computer Based Written Examination under
one of three examination schemes depending on the post applied for.
One Tier General (I-T-G) — Post
Codes 34/26, 39/26, 40/26: Duration: 2 hours | 200
MCQs | 200 marks. Five sections of 40 marks each: General Awareness, General
Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability,
Hindi Language & Comprehension, and English Language & Comprehension.
Final merit is based on written examination marks only.
One Tier Technical (I-T-T) —
Post Codes 21/26 to 31/26, 32/26, 33/26, 35/26 to 38/26, 45/26: Duration:
2 hours | 200 MCQs | 200 marks. Section A: 100 marks covering General
Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Hindi, and English (20 marks each). Section
B: 100 marks on the domain subject for the post concerned. Minimum qualifying
marks apply only to Section B; combined marks of both sections determine the
final merit list.
One Tier Technical/Teaching
(I-T-T) — Post Codes 41/26, 42/26, 43/26, 44/26: Duration:
2 hours | 200 MCQs | 200 marks. Section A: 100 marks (same five general
subjects, 20 marks each). Section B: 100 marks from subject-specific content
including teaching methodology/B.Ed. Minimum qualifying marks apply only to
Section B; combined marks of both sections determine final merit.

application process for DSSSB Recruitment 2026 is entirely online. No
applications sent by post, by hand, or by email will be accepted.
1.
Visit the official DSSSB registration and application portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in.
2.
If you are a new user, complete the one-time registration
process. Note down your User ID and password — the same credentials are to be
used for all future DSSSB examinations; do not register multiple times.
3.
Log in using your registered credentials and select the relevant
post code from Advertisement No. 03/2026.
4.
Fill in all fields of the online application form accurately.
Once submitted, no change or correction — including change of category — will
be permitted under any circumstances.
5.
Upload a recent, clear colour photograph (plain white or
off-white background, full face, front view, eyes open) and your signature.
Blurred or illegible photographs/signatures will result in rejection.
6.
Pay the application fee of ₹100 through SBI ePay (exempted
categories need not pay).
7.
Submit the form and take a printout for your own records. Keep
the registration number and application number safely.
The
application portal will be live from 16 June 2026 (12:00 Noon) until 15
July 2026 (11:59 PM), after which the link will be disabled.
