Profile: Key Responsibilities (Post-wise)
Boiler Expert - Job Profile
The
Boiler Expert will act as a technical advisor to industrial clients, visiting
plant sites to audit boiler performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting on-site technical audits of
operating boiler systems and identifying efficiency bottlenecks.
- Assessing compatibility of client
boilers with lignite fuel blends and guiding operational adjustments.
- Suggesting design and engineering
modifications to improve heat transfer and fuel mixing.
- Engaging with plant stakeholders and
explaining the return on investment of recommended changes.
- Training sales managers and boiler
operators on boiler fundamentals.
This
role requires being based in Gujarat or willing to relocate, with extensive
travel (more than 15 days a month) to industrial zones such as Ahmedabad,
Surat, Morbi, and Dahej.
DGM / Sr. Manager (Survey) - Job Profile
This
role heads survey operations for GMDC's Coal and Lignite mining projects,
ensuring statutory compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising mine survey operations and
ensuring compliance with the Mines Act, DGMS requirements, and Coal Mines
Regulations.
- Preparing, maintaining, and certifying
statutory mine plans, sections, and survey records.
- Providing survey data for mine planning,
resource and reserve estimation, and volumetric calculations.
- Implementing modern survey technologies
such as Total Station, DGPS/GPS, Drone/UAV survey, LiDAR, GIS-based survey
management, and digital terrain modeling.
- Leading and mentoring survey teams, and
coordinating with DGMS, IBM, and state authorities.
DGM / Sr. Manager (Coal-I) - Job Profile
This
role leads mining operations of large mechanized opencast coal mines. Key
responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day coal mining
operations as per approved mining plans and statutory provisions.
- Functioning as a statutory official
under CMR 2017 and liaising with DGMS, Ministry of Coal, state mining
authorities, and pollution control boards.
- Achieving targeted coal production,
overburden removal, and dispatch plans.
- Implementing safety management systems,
conducting risk assessments, and driving a strong safety culture.
- Supervising mining contractors,
validating contractor bills, and optimizing manpower and equipment
deployment.
- Overseeing environmental compliance,
reclamation, afforestation, and sustainable mining practices.
Assistant Manager / Management Trainee (Chemistry) - Job Profile
This
role manages laboratory operations, quality control, and chemical analysis
functions across GMDC's mining, lignite, and power operations. Key

- Conducting chemical analysis and testing
of minerals, lignite, coal, ores, water, and effluents as per approved
standards.
