www.gujaratmetrorail.com. A total of 11 vacancies have been announced through
the GMRC Recruitment 2026 for the posts of Chief General Manager/General
Manager (Civil), Manager (Traction), Assistant Manager (Rolling Stock),
Engineer - Senior Grade (M&P), and Engineer - Junior Grade (Rolling Stock).
Candidates
up to 57 years of age for CGM/GM posts, 40 years for Manager, 35 years for
Assistant Manager, and 32 years for Engineer posts who possess a B.E./B.Tech.
in the relevant engineering discipline along with the prescribed
post-qualification work experience are eligible to apply for these vacancies.

- Chief General Manager/General Manager
(Civil): B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a
Government-recognized University/Institute recognized by the State/Central
Government or other statutory authority.
- Manager (Traction): B.E./B.Tech in
Electrical/Electrical & Electronics discipline from a
Government-recognized University/Institute.
- Asst. Manager (Rolling
Stock): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical &

- The selection process comprises Personal
Interviews, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination as
per the category prescribed for the post.
- Preference is given to candidates with
experience in the same grade or immediate lower grade with 2 years'
experience in that grade. If sufficient suitable candidates are not
available, candidates from a lower pay scale meeting the prescribed
qualifications, total experience, and age criteria may be considered.
- The selection process evaluates
knowledge, skills, experience, expertise, aptitude, and physical fitness.
- The venue, date, and time of the
interview will be informed in advance; requests for change in date or
venue will not be entertained.
- Document verification of candidates will
be done before the interview. Candidates must carry original certificates;
failing this, they will not be allowed to attend the interview.
