Limited (LIC HFL) has officially announced the Junior Assistant Recruitment
2026 with 180 vacancies across multiple states and union territories in India.

Candidates who meet the age criteria of 21 to 30 years and hold a graduate
degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks from a UGC-recognized university along
with computer knowledge can submit their online applications from 16 April 2026

LIC HFL Junior Assistant Vacancy 2026
A total of 180 vacancies have
been announced across 20 states and union territories. Karnataka has the
highest number of vacancies at 29 (of which 23 are in Bangalore alone),
followed by Maharashtra (25), Telangana (24), Tamil Nadu (21), Madhya Pradesh
(18), and Uttar Pradesh (13).
Candidates must note that the recruitment is city-specific -
they can apply for only one Vacancy City. The actual posting of selected
candidates will be as per merit drawn for each city. While candidates will be
posted preferably in their chosen Vacancy City, this is subject to requirement
and suitability and shall not be deemed implicit. The total vacancy count may
increase or decrease at the time of final selection depending on actual
availability.

LIC HFL Junior Assistant Remuneration & Benefits 2026
Selected Junior Assistants will receive a competitive CTC
package that varies based on the city category (Category I, II, or III) in
which they are posted.
The basic pay is uniform at ₹20,000 across all city categories,
but HRA and other benefits differ based on city classification. In addition to
salary, Junior Assistants are eligible for Gratuity, Staff Housing Loan Scheme,
and Performance Linked Incentive as per applicable company rules. Annual
increments of up to 10% of Basic Pay are
provided based on quarterly/annual performance.
The company's Meal Coupon is payable at ₹210 per working day
(for approximately 24 working days per month), though this may vary month to
month. It is important to note that Lease Facility and Staff
Quarter Facility are not applicable for the Junior Assistant
cadre. The probation period is 6 months from the date of
joining, extendable as per company rules.

LIC HFL Junior Assistant Selection Process 2026
The selection process for LIC HFL Junior Assistant consists of
three stages: an Online Examination, a Personal Interview, and a Medical &
Background Verification check. The Online Examination is objective type,
multiple choice, conducted in English only, with a total duration of 2 hours and 200
questions carrying 200 marks across 5 sections. There
is negative marking of 0.25 marks for
every wrong answer. No penalty is applied for unattempted questions. The scores
are equated across sessions to account for any minor variation in difficulty
level.
Only candidates who rank sufficiently high in the online
examination will be called for interview. Candidates who fail to secure minimum
qualifying marks in the interview will be disqualified. The final selection is
based on the combined marks of the Online Examination and
Interview, strictly in order of merit. Medical examination and background
verification are the final mandatory steps before appointment, carried out at
the candidate's own expense.

LIC HFL Junior Assistant Application Fee 2026
The application fee is applicable to all
candidates regardless of category, and is non-refundable under
all circumstances. Payment must be made online only through the available
digital payment modes. Bank transaction charges for online payment will be
borne by the candidate. GST at 18% will be charged on the application fee in
addition to the base fee amount. Candidates are advised to pay the fees and
complete registration early to avoid last-minute payment gateway issues or internet
congestion. Once the fee is paid and application is submitted, no refund will
be made even in the case of ineligibility or withdrawal.

How to Apply for LIC HFL Junior Assistant Recruitment 2026
The application process is entirely online through the official
LIC HFL website. Before registering, candidates must scan and keep ready their
recent passport-size photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature (black ink on white
paper), left thumb impression (black or blue ink on white paper), and a handwritten
declaration in English on white paper with black ink. The handwritten
declaration text must be: "I,
_______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information
submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present
the supporting documents as and when required.
" This declaration must be written by
the candidate themselves in English - declarations written by others or in any
other language will render the application invalid. Signature in CAPITAL
LETTERS is not accepted. Candidates must ensure a valid personal email ID and
active mobile number are available throughout the recruitment process, as all
communications will be sent only through these channels. Once the application
is submitted and confirmed, no changes will be permitted under any
circumstances.

Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates must ensure all information filled in the online
application is accurate and complete before final submission, as no changes are
allowed after clicking "COMPLETE REGISTRATION." Only one application
per candidate is permitted - in case of multiple registrations, only the one
with the highest registration number will be retained and fees paid for other
registrations will be forfeited. In-service candidates must produce a No
Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of
interview.
Candidates appearing for the online examination must bring the
Call Letter along with original photo identity proof and a photocopy of the
same. Mobile phones, pagers, calculators, and all electronic communication
devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates are
advised to report to the examination centre well before the reporting time
specified in the call letter, as late arrivals will not be permitted to take
the examination.
Biometric data (thumb impression and photograph) will be captured
on the day of the online examination and verified subsequently. Any candidate
found guilty of using unfair means, impersonation, or misconduct will be
disqualified and may be debarred from future LIC HFL recruitment processes
permanently.
