Eligibility
Criteria for NCL Recruitment 2026
Candidates
must ensure they meet the specific eligibility requirements for each post as of
the cut-off date, which is May 1, 2026. Qualifications obtained through
distance learning or part-time courses will not be considered.
Educational
Qualification for NCL Jobs
- HEMM Operator
(Trainee): Matriculate/SSC/High
School from a recognized board + Valid HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle) /
Transport License. Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in
Matriculation (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC applies).
- Staff Nurse (Trainee): 10+2 +
B.Sc. Nursing or Grade ‘A’ Nursing Diploma/Certificate from a recognized
institute + Valid Registration with State Nursing Council.
- Pharmacist
(Trainee): 10+2
with Science + Diploma in Pharmacy + Registration with Pharmacy Council.
- Overseer
(Civil): Matriculation
+ 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Technician
Posts: Respective
Diploma/Degree in the relevant field (Pathology, Dental, Radiology, etc.)
as detailed in the notification.
Age Limit for
NCL Recruitment 2026
The
minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years as of 01.05.2026.
Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government norms:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- PwBD (UR): 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service Period + 3 Years
- Departmental Candidates: No Upper Age

Selection
Process for NCL 2026
The
selection will be based on a Computer
Based Test (CBT). The merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in
the CBT, subject to candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks (50 marks
for UR/EWS and 40 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD out of 100).
- HEMM Operator: 100 marks
(Common paper for all operator posts).
- Paramedical
& Overseer: 100 marks (Section A: 70 technical marks;
Section B: 30 General knowledge/Aptitude marks).
