Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters, Western Region, Mumbai has released the notification for engagement of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/2014/2025 for the training year 2026-27. The recruitment is being conducted through Advertisement No. 03/08/2026/APPRENTICE (Graduate/Diploma)/WR.

AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 invites applications from eligible Degree and Diploma holders for apprenticeship training at various airports under the Western Region. Candidates belonging to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and the Union Territory of Diu who reside near the listed airport locations are eligible to apply.

The apprenticeship training duration is one year. Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month, while Diploma Apprentices will receive ₹12,000 per month. AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification Conditions

• Degree/Diploma candidates should possess a full-time regular four-year Degree in Engineering or a full-time regular three-year Diploma in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-recognised institution.
• Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum required marks are 45%.
• Candidates who have passed Degree/Diploma on or after 01 April 2022 are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have completed more than five years from the date of passing the qualifying examination as on the joining date will not be eligible.
• Candidates appearing in the final year examination and awaiting results may also apply, subject to fulfilling the required qualification at the time of joining.

The selection process for AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying examination.

1. Shortlisting of candidates based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Interview and verification of certificates/testimonials.
3. Submission of Certificate of Medical Fitness from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at the time of joining.
4. Police verification certificate from the local area of residence.

• Apprentices must undergo training at the notified airports/establishments. Requests for change in training location will not be accepted.
• Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship, terminated apprenticeship midway, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship with another organisation or AAI at the same qualification level are not eligible.
• Candidates having one year or more training/job experience after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship.
• AAI will not provide any regular employment guarantee after completion of apprenticeship training.
