Corporation (GMRC) Limited, a prestigious 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle of the
Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, has released a recruitment
notification for various posts in Land Acquisition & Resettlement & Rehabilitation
(R&R). This is an excellent opportunity for eligible and experienced
candidates to join GMRC on a contract/deputation basis. The application process

Educational Qualification
For
both Assistant Manager and Sr. Executive/Executive posts, candidates must
possess a post-graduate degree in MSW (Master of Social Work – Full
Time) from a Government recognized University/Institute.
Experience Required
For Assistant Manager – Land
Acquisition (LA) & Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R):
- Relevant
Experience: Candidate
should have a social work background with experience in reputable
organizations handling land acquisitions, particularly concerning RFCTLARR
Act, 2013 and GoG GRs. Experience in R&R policy preparation &
implementation, social development, livelihood programs for PAPs,
training, capacity building, and liaisoning with Government bodies and
Private Agencies is essential. Computer proficiency in MS Office is
required. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of
national and State guidelines/policies.
- Required
Post-qualification Experience: Minimum 7 years of Executive level
experience in a reputed private organization OR 5 years of Executive level
experience in Government / PSU’s.
For Sr. Executive/Executive –
Land Acquisition (LA) & Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R):
- Relevant
Experience: Candidate
should have a social work background with experience in reputable
organizations handling R&R, social development, livelihood programs
for PAPs, training, capacity building, and liaisoning with Government
bodies and Private Agencies. Computer proficiency in MS Office is
essential. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of
national and State guidelines/policies/Acts on land acquisition,
rehabilitation, resettlement, and experience in infrastructure or urban
transport sectors.
- Required
Post-qualification Experience:
- For Sr.
Executive level: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience at the
Executive level in a reputed private organization or in Government /
PSUs.
- For Executive
level: Minimum
2 years of relevant experience at the Executive level in a reputed
private organization or in Government / PSU’s.

Selection Process
The
selection process will involve Personal Interviews, followed by Document
Verification and a Medical Examination as per the category prescribed for the
post. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the same grade
or an immediate lower grade with at least 2 years of experience.
