(for additional weightage): Completion
of Apprenticeship in the relevant ITI trade and a valid NCVT certificate and
mark sheet.

Age Limit
The
age criteria for applicants are as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (Unreserved Male): 35 years
- Maximum Age (Unreserved
Female): 40 years
- Maximum Age (Reserved Male): 40 years
- Maximum Age (Reserved Female): 45 years
- Maximum Age (Ex-Servicemen): 45 years
- Maximum Age (Persons with
Disabilities): 45 years
Candidates’
birth dates should fall between 06/10/1991 and 06/10/2008 (for
unreserved male candidates) as per the last date of application. Age relaxation
will be provided as per government rules for reserved categories.
Salary / Stipend
- Salary: Rs.21,100/- Per Month
(Fixed Pay for first 5 years on contract basis)
- After successful completion of
5 years of satisfactory service, candidates will be eligible for regular
appointment at the prevailing basic pay scale of the Helper category in
GSRTC.
- No other allowances or benefits
will be applicable during the contract period except those permissible
under rules.
Selection Process
The selection process for GSRTC Helper posts will involve the
following stages:
1.
Competitive
Examination: A 100-mark Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based
examination (OMR or CBRT as decided by GSRTC) will be conducted.
2.
Weightage:
o 90%
weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the MCQ examination.
o 10%
weightage will be given to the Apprenticeship certificate (if applicable and in
the relevant trade with NCVT certification).
3.
Merit
List: A merit list will be prepared based on the total 100%
weightage.
4.
Document
Verification: Candidates will be called for document verification in a
1:1.5 ratio (1.5 times the number of vacancies).
5.
Special
Weightage:
o Widow
candidates will receive an additional 5% weightage on their exam marks, provided
they have not remarried.
o Sports
candidates (National/International/University level/All India School Federation
participants) will receive an additional 5% weightage on their exam marks.
