Educational Qualification and
other details:
(b) possess a Post graduate degree or a Bachelor's degree with
Statistics or Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Business
Statistics or Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or
Econometrics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Advanced Statistics as a
principal subject obtained from any
University established or incorporated by or under the State Act in india ; or
any educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be a
University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
(c) possess the basic knowledge of computer application as
prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services and Recruitment (General) Rules 196; and
(d) possess adequate
knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both languages.

- Selection will be based on
competitive examination through MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) type
- Examination mode: CBRT/OMR
(Computer Based Response Test/Optical Mark Recognition)
- Examination will be conducted
in two parts: Part-A and Part-B
- Part-A
(90 marks): Logical Test & Data
Interpretation (30 marks), Mathematical Test (30 marks), Constitution,
Current Affairs, English and Gujarati Comprehension (30 marks)
- Part-B
(120 marks): Questions related to the
concerned subject and its application
- Total Questions: 210 (Part-A:
90 questions, Part-B: 120 questions)
- Total Time: 3 hours (180 minutes)
for both parts combined
- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will
be deducted for each wrong answer
- Qualifying Standard: Minimum
40% marks required separately in Part-A and Part-B for all categories
- Merit list will be prepared
based on total marks/normalized marks obtained
- Candidates double the number of
vacancies will be called for certificate verification based on merit
- Final selection list and
waiting list will be prepared based on merit and category-wise vacancies
- Level of question paper will be
equivalent to educational qualification
